COVID-19 Information

Crimson Ridge has implemented protocols for the 2021 golf season.  First and foremost, the safest place for people to be during this time is at home. However, to meet the needs of recommended outside time and exercise - plus the mental health benefits of sport - we will be  working on our opening Standards and Procedures with the support of the Ontario Government.  In order to maintain the safety of our members, guests and staff, we have instituted new and extensive protocols. It is essential to follow our new procedures if we are to keep everyone safe this season. Please know that if you cannot or will not adhere to these protocols you will be asked to leave the property, immediately.

Protocols:

  • When arriving on the Crimson Ridge property players paying a green fee must check in at the Pro Shop and then proceed to the parking lot.  Members may go straight to the parking lot to prepare to golf.  You will be greeted by our golf operations staff at the back of the parking lot when picking up your cart and driving range balls.
  • Physical distancing of 2m (6 feet) is encouraged as much as possible
  • We encourage payments in the Golf Shop and Clubhouse to be paid with a credit or debit card to limit the use of cash transactions
  • Hand sanitizing stations will be set up at the following locations:
  • Next to the golf cart staging area at the back of the parking lot
  • At the entrance of the Pro Shop
  • At the Cantina (outside bar area)
  • Sanitized washrooms are available outside of the Pro Shop building as well as on the golf course.
  • Power carts are to be shared
  • No garbage can be left in your golf cart
  • Golfers will be required to place their garbage and recyclable items in the proper bins after completing their round at the back of the parking lot.  All carts must be returned to the cart staging area at the back of the parking lot shortly after completing your final hole (IE: 9 or 18)

LIGHTENING AND EVACUATION PLAN

  • The golf course management and staff are always tracking the weather especially when lightning is in the area and potentially a threat to golfers.  While on the property if we sound the air horn with one long blast, it signifies that all golfers must stop play and take shelter by returning to the parking lot as quickly as possible.
  • Golfers are asked to then leave the Crimson Ridge property as soon as possible.
  • Rainchecks will be issued in the Pro Shop to those public players who did not complete their round.

DRIVING RANGE

  • Will open when the golf course opens.
  • The Driving Range will be closed on Sunday nights  to clean pick for cutting early Monday morning. No balls can be hit  once the range closes on Sunday until it opens again on Monday morning.

GOLF LESSONS

  • Available upon request by our PGA of Canada, Director of Operations Travis Spiess.  Please view our website for rates and packages and contact Travis to arrange your lesson.  Lessons can take place on the driving range, short game area, including the putting green, on the course or in the Pro Shop using the simulator (Foresight GCquad launch monitor)
